Synopsis
Tella Holloway is losing it. Her brother is sick, and when a dozen doctors can’t determine what’s wrong, her parents decide to move to Montana for the fresh air. She’s lost her friends, her parents are driving her crazy, her brother is dying—and she’s helpless to change anything.Until she receives mysterious instructions on how to become a Contender in the Brimstone Bleed. It’s an epic race across jungle, desert, ocean, and mountain that could win her the prize she desperately desires: the Cure for her brother’s illness. But all the Contenders are after the Cure for people they love, and there’s no guarantee that Tella (or any of them) will survive the race. The jungle is terrifying, the clock is ticking, and Tella knows she can’t trust the allies she makes. And one big question emerges: Why have so many fallen sick in the first place?
This sounds amazing and just so adventuresome. I have yet to read a book by Victoria Scott but this one just pulls me in. I cannot wait to read it and I don’t have to wait to long as it comes out end of Feb.

Synopsis
From the author of My Life Next Door comes a swoony summertime romance full of expectation and regret, humor and hard questions.
Gwen Castle’s Biggest Mistake Ever, Cassidy Somers, is slumming it as a yard boy on her Nantucket-esque island this summer. He’s a rich kid from across the bridge in Stony Bay, and she hails from a family of fishermen and housecleaners who keep the island’s summer people happy. Gwen worries a life of cleaning houses will be her fate too, but just when it looks like she’ll never escape her past—or the island—Gwen’s dad gives her some shocking advice. Sparks fly and secret histories unspool as Gwen spends a gorgeous, restless summer struggling to resolve what she thought was true—about the place she lives, the people she loves, and even herself—with what really is.
This just sounds amazing and I want my hands on it now! I am loving Contemporary at the moment and this seems like it’s right up my path. Also lets talk about the breathtaking cover, simply gorgeous. We have quite a while till this comes out and I would die for an ARC of it.

Firstly look at that cover, gosh it’s gorgeous. I am a sucker for gorgeous covers, I sometimes, well most of the time don’t buy a book because I want a certain cover, anyway. This sounds really interesting and intriguing, I haven’t read and Fantasy novel in quite a long time nor have I ever read a Historical novel so I am quite looking forward to reading it.
So this is what I am waiting on this Wednesday. What are you waiting on?
