This week I’m sharing ten of the most recent lowest-rated reads. Top Ten Tuesday was created by The Broke and Bookish and is hosted by The Artsy Reader Girl.
I changed this week’s topic a little bit because I don’t DNF a lot of books. So instead I decided to share some of my most recent reads that I have given a low rating to. As I said I don’t DNF much. Most of the time I want to know what’s going to happen in the book, so it does mean I do give a few 1-2 stars. And that is what I am sharing today.
I do want to say this before I get into this post. These books just aren’t for me. I read a lot of books and sometimes they aren’t what I like. It might be the writing of the author, it might be the characters. It might just be the plot. But you may love the book, so if I don’t like sometimes, it doesn’t mean that you won’t. These are solely based on my reading.
So let’s get into it now. Here are some of my most recent lowest-rated reads. From dark romance to something a little light. Nevertheless, here are the books that weren’t really for me.
Bloody Lucky: A Thornbriar Academy Story by Cali Mann. – 1 Star | Wicked Heir (Chernov Bratva, #1) by Mila Kane. – 2 Stars. | Sin by Seven Rue – 2 Stars. | Burn Butterfly Burn (Masked Duet, #2) by Reese Rivers. – 2.5 Stars.
Lies like Rubies, Part One by Poppy Jacobson – 2 Stars. | Ember & Her Marshals (Pack Bonds, #2) by Rosemary A. Johns. – 2 Stars. | Steal Me (Haunted Roads #1) by India R. Adams. – 2 Stars. | Cal (Secrets and Lies, #1) by B.J. Alpha – 2 Stars.
Mine for Yours by Harloe Rae – 2 Stars. | Furore (The Night Skulls MC #1) by N.J. Adel – 1 Star.
And there we go! Those are some of my recent lowest-rated reads. Have you read any of these books? What did you think of them? What are some of your recent lowest-rated reads? So, let’s chat!
This week I’m sharing the books on my tbr with one-word titles. Top Ten Tuesday was created by The Broke and Bookish and is hosted by The Artsy Reader Girl.
What better way to share some of the books on my tbr than doing something? With this week’s topic being ‘books with one-word titles,’ I thought I would share some of the books on my tbr that have one-word titles. This was a little harder than I thought it was going to be, but I still had a lot of fun.
If this is your first time here, Hi. I use my tbr a little differently from others, I don’t just use my tbr for the books I own. In contrast, I use it to put whatever I want to read. It helps me keep track of the books that I see floating around on social media. And then I can pick it up when I want. Some of these are out, some are set to be published soon. It doesn’t really matter if I want to read it. It gets added to my tbr.
But enough chit-chat, these are the books on my tbr with one-word titles. As always these are in no real order. Let’s go!
Bride by Ali Hazelwood. | Roommates by A.L. Ryan. | Power (Blurred Lines) by Cassandra Robbins. | Wicked by Amo Jones.
Sabotage by Shantel Tessier. | Locked (Blackstone Gates. #1) by K.L. Steele. | Trickery (Curse of the Gods, #1) by Jaymin Eve and Jane Washington. | Psychos (Depraved Sinners, #1) by Sheridan Anne.
Thief (Sterling Falls, #1) by S. Massery. | Rapture (MC Syndicates #5) by C.R. Jane and Mila Young.
And there we go! Those are just some of the books on my tbr with one-word titles, even though I could go on for a while. Have you read any of these books? However, I want to know what books made it into your list. So, let’s chat!
