BookBuddyAthon TBR with Tea and Titles
I didn’t know about this readathon until a couple of weeks when Michelle and Ely from Tea and Titles mentioned it. And now I am excited to say that I am going to participate in it.
The BookBuddyAthon was hosted by Elena Reads Books and SwirlyGirlyReads and it runs from 6th of May to the 12th of May. And there aren’t many rules. Really, the only rule is that you have to participate in this readathon with a buddy. And if you haven’t guessed it already, I am doing this readathon with Ely and Michelle.
There are also a few challenges that you can participate in as was, here are the ones that I hope to complete in this week;
Buddy Read a Book.
Read a Book that is your Buddy’s Favourite Colour.
Read a book that starts with the same initial as your Buddy.
Now, some of these may change as I am very much a mood reader, but here is what I am planning on reading.
The first challenge is easy for me. At the moment Ely and I are hosting #TheInfernalReadalong. Where we read one of The Infernal Devices books from April to June. Last month it was all about Clockwork Angel and May is all about Clockwork Prince. So we decided why not buddy read it. After reading Clockwork Angel I am so excited to dive into book 2.
The second challenge is to read a book that has your buddy’s favorite colour on the cover. For this one Michelle’s favourite colour is Blue! So I decided to read Quidditch Through the Ages by J.K Rowling. I read this one a couple of years ago, but I really wanted to re-read it, so now is my chance. I love these little books about the Wizardry world. It gives us ideas about how the world works without over doing it. Plus I love the little notes in there from the characters.
The last challenge for the BookBuddyAthon that I am doing is to read a book that starts with your buddy’s initials. And for this one, Michelle is my buddy. I am going to try and read The Melody of You and Me by M. Hollis. I heard about this one a couple of months ago and I think I bought it while it was free on Kindle, but haven’t had the chance to read it yet. So here is my chance.
And that is it for this post! Don’t forget to check out what Ely and Michelle are reading. Are you going to participate in the BookBuddyathon? What books are you planning to read? Let’s Chat
