Pokemon Go Book Tag
I haven’t done a tag in quite a while so when I was tagged by Julia from Picnic Reads, I thought why not. The Pokemon Go Book Tag was created by the lovely Aentee over at Reading at Midnight. Go check out both of the lovely girls.
I’ve loved Pokemon quite a lot as a kid, but then I kind of grew out of it for some reasons, the fact that it’s making its come back and even getting the younger generations involved puts a smile on my face. Anyway, less chit chat on onto the tag.
There are two answers to this one and you probably know both. First Harry Potter, Harry has been with me from the start of my childhood and my life would be a whole lot different if it wasn’t. I did a whole post on my journey with Harry, but I cannot imagine my life without it.
Then it’s Vampire Academy – VA started my love for reading again, during the late stages of primary school I feel a little out of love with reading, but then Vampire Academy came along and gave me a kick in the butt.
I read Vampire Academy back in 2009 and I really have not stop reading since. I cemented my love for Young Adult and books.
The Little White Horse by Elizabeth Goudge, there was a movie that came out a couple of years ago and I feel in love with the magic, characters and story – so I had to pick up the book and it was just as magical.
Okay I am going to get killed for saying this, but any Sarah J. Maas books. *Goes and hides in a corner* Now if you follow me on twitter, you might have seen me say this before, but I haven’t said it here.
So yes I will not be continuing the Throne of Glass books or A Court of Thorns and Roses – now before everyone jumps. I have read the first book of both these series and loved them – quite a bit. And I was so excited to read the rest, until I read what happen and that pushed me right off.
The Hundred Oaks series by Miranda Kenneally. These books have quite a couple of tropes, but still they are fun to read. They all have something different, something fun and they are take you on an emotional roller coaster.
The Song of Fire and Ice Series by George R.R Martin. Okay so I have tried to read A Game of Thrones 3 times and each time I’ve put it down, each time because of the size. I will finish this series…sometime.
However, every time I go to read these books, I just stare at the books and stop.
Disruption and Corruption by Jessica Shirvington. I loved these books so much, As soon as I finished Disruption, I picked up Corruption. I could not put them both down. I wanted to know what was going to happen next, especially with the ending of Disruption. Plus it’s Aussie YA.
I ship way to many people for this question so some of recent-ish ones are; Arin and Kestrel (The Winners Trilogy), Maggie and Quentin (Disruption) and Emma and Julian ( Lady Midnight).
Ruined by Amy Tintera – holy crap; I loved this book so much – you can read my review. It has everything that I love in a novel and I could not stop. A couple of hours and I finished it.
You should all know this by now – but Cassandra Clare – I wrote a discussion about this sort of thing a couple of months ago.
Salt to the Sea by Ruta Sepetys – this book was incredible. It was beautiful, captivating, extraordinary. Salt to the Sea is a gorgeous novel that brings to light a catastrophe that seems to be forgotten. With stunning writing and intriguing characters Ruta Sepetys brings a novel that tells a story that everyone needs to read. You can read my whole review, but basically I loved it.
I still have yet to read The Shatter Me Series – just because I haven’t had the chance to buy it yet – I will get on to it at some point in time.
Seriously I will buy any book that is a collector’s edition and I mean any. But I want the new Six of Crows Box Set as well as anything Harry Potter.

I have skipped a few, just because I cannot think of anything to answer them with – but I tag anyone that wants to do it. Have fun and lets chat!
