My Review
First i liked to say the cover of Bleeding Hearts looks amazing but then again i do love all the covers of the Drake Chronicles, they are all simply beautiful. Now to the Story. The one thing I like about the Drake Chronicles novels is that each book has different POV in them, and I was very happy that i was getting more Lucy POV as I adore her to the bone. I also like that we get another of the Drake Brothers as one of the perspective as well, in this book it’s Conner of the twins. and the last perspective that we get is Christabel, Lucy’s cousin whom is new to Violet Hill . I love the way Alyxandra is able to capture all these different roles and characteristic and is able to write from their mind. I loved the Nick and Lucky moments, they are by far my favourite 2 since the first book, even if there was not as many as i wished. Conner, Conner, Conner, I just love him. I loved the interaction between him and Christable, just cute. The twist and turns though the whole book, made me not want to put the book down, it just made me want to keep on reading. I would be lying if i said I did not finish this book in a few hours, as I did. I loved how the characters build and build throughout the books and we get to see changes. I also liked Christable, she is a very interesting character, she is weak yet very strong. She is not the usual girl, I think that is why I liked her so much. I loved the action scenes, it would not be a Drake Chronicle Novel without some action and Lucy is badass and I love it. All I have is one problem… Solange, that is not Alyxandra’s fault, she just pissed me off pretty much the whole book, and it made me want to punch her, maybe that is why Alyxandra Harvey wanted us to feel, if she did, well then it worked for me. I love the way Alyxandra writes it is pretty captivating. overall I really liked. The ending wow! The ending did not expect that.
So I give this book a 4 stars out of 5.

My Review
I could not have been happier reading Bloodlines, being captivated into the world that Richelle Mead brought into existence. The Story started off with Sydney and the Alchemist, this was very intriguing as I was interested in the them from when Sydney was introduced in Blood Promise. I also wanted to know what happened to Sydney at the end of Last Sacrifice, so I was delighted that Sydney was our main character. After spending a while with the Alchemist, we moved Palm Springs. Were we met up with some of the our favourite Characters from VA, which i was ecstatic to read about. Rose whom has and will always be one of my favourite characters makes a quick entrance here she was herself. Abe who again is himself. Then we get Jill and Eddie, Jill whom we know now as Lissa’s Sister the Moroi Queen, and Eddie, the friend we all wished we had. The we could never ever forget Adrian.. what can be said. I was always Team Dimitri throughout VA but I did Love Adrian to bits. So yes I was upset that Rose broke his heart but I was also Happy that her and Dimitri Finally could be together. But then we were left lost on what had happened to Adrian. After a slow start which could have said to be an introduction, but as it is a companion series to VA I didn’t think it had to be that long. After that long patch, it started to pick up, and the Richelle Mead that I know and love come about. I love Sydney as a character, she is an amazingly strong and smart Character. I think is one of the things that I like most about Bloodlines. Sydney is brain Smart which was very refreshing from Rose’s War Smart. At the start of the book Sydney was very ‘Alchemist’ mode but by the end of the novel she lightens up. I loved the Scenes between Sydney and Adrian, they were very cute in a way and my heart flattered. Many things shocked me throughout the novel, like Jill and what had happened at court, and that Eddie was so protective of her. When Eddie met Micah, it just tore me to bits and bits. What Adrian was going through it broke my heart to bits, even though I do believe it was partly his own fault as he can see auras. But I did still very blue about it. Along with all this, the drama of school and the ‘magical’ tattoo’s was just wow! It was very alluring about what was happening and It made the novel more intense. It drew me in wanting to know more and more on what heck was happening. The story line picked up and got better and better as the novel progressed. The Characteristic of Adrian and Sydney Grew and I loved It. I also like that we also got to know a bit more about Jill as we still did not know that much about her.I also liked how we were kept secret of what really happened to Jill, even though I was dying to know, it made the book more consuming. I also liked Adrian in this book, we got to see a different side of him and I loved it. THE END OMG Richelle Mead and her endings. Can’t even explain my feelings at those last few sentences.
I have to give this book 4.5 Stars

While Jace realizes exactly how much he’s willing to risk for Clary, can she harness her newfound powers to help save the Glass City – whatever the cost?
My Review
So what can I say, Cassandra what do you too me? I read City of Glass as soon as i finished City of Ashes and I was not disappointed at all. It was fasted pasted, action packed, dramatic and romanced filled, which to me makes a really good novel.
I loved that we got more information about characters and the characterisation of Clary and
Jace and all the other Characters. I loved the Character development of the ‘minor’ characters of Simon, Isabelle, Alec, Mangus, Luke and so on. The plot of City of Glass made me never want to put the book down, it just pulled me more into it. Some lose ends that came forth in the earlier books were explained and put together. I love that Clary is not this weak little main female, but a strong female. She does what she thinks is right for the ones she loves. Jace again, does Cassandra Clare want to kill me with him. We finally, see his other side, his ‘weak’ side, and I loved it. I have said this time and time again Valentine is the best Villain. Throughout the whole book, I felt bad and grossed out that I wanted Jace and Clary together the whole time. I like that we got to know more about the Shadow hunter world and got to here and ‘see’ it more. I really like the face that Clary could make here own runes, it made the more that more interesting and made the book a whole lot more interesting. I also loved the new characters that we get introduced to.
The last few chapters ….. I don’t even know what to say, just so much intensity from tragedy to me jumping up and down *cough* *cough* (Jace and Clary) it was amazingly written. I could never tell what was going to happened and I loved feeling like that. The ending was beautiful and it made me smile.
I had no other choice but to give this book 5 out of 5 stars
