2025 has started pretty great if you ask me. I managed to read 16 books in January, which was exactly how I wanted to start the year. The end of 2024 was a little slumpy. So starting the year by just reading a tonne was exactly what I wanted to happen.
Not only am I happy with how much I was able to read, but I read so many books that I loved. I did a re-read of ‘The Empyrean’ series before Onyx Storm came out and had the best time. I was also able to binge-read a few books in other series that have been on my tbr for a little while. January was just a solid month. I discovered quite a few new-to-me authors in 2024. It was one of my goals for the year, and I’m so happy that I did because some of them are authors I cannot wait to read more of this year. From fantasy to contemporary romance and even some dark, I read a mix of new authors in 2024. Sometimes, I read only one book from them, and sometimes, I binged a whole series or even more books from an author.

2024 was a strange year. I didn’t read as much as I would have loved, but I still read some fantastic books. While December is always messy for me in retail, I still read quite a few books later in the year. So today I thought I would share the last ten books I read in 2024.
It was great, from new-to-me authors to series I’ve been wanting to read more from for a while. I honestly read some stand-out books towards the end of the year and I cannot wait to read more. The start of 2025 has already been fantastic so I cannot wait to see what the year brings.
