This week I’m sharing books that I had very strong emotions about. Top Ten Tuesday was created by The Broke and Bookish and is hosted by The Artsy Reader Girl.
I mean it’s not hard to make me cry. But today I’m sharing the books that hit me right in the heart and most of the time made me sob. Sometimes from heartbreak, sometimes from death, and sometimes I sobbed like crazy and then it was all okay. I’m also sharing the books that made me smile so much I was grinning on the train and had to stop.
So let’s get into it! Here are the books that made me sob, cry, and sometimes even curl up in a ball, as well as the ones that made me smile with everything in me. These are books that I had very strong emotions about.
The Last Letter by Rebecca Yarros. | The Song of Achilles by Madeline Miller. | The Poet X by Elizabeth Acevedo. | The Last Time We Say Goodbye by Cynthia Hand.
Lovelight Farms (Lovelight, #1) by B.K. Borison. | Heartless (Chestnut Springs #2) by Elsie Silver. | Heartstopper: Volume One. (Heartstopper, #1) by Alice Oseman. | The House in the Cerulean Sea (Cerulean Chronicles, #1) by T.J. Klune.
Only When It’s Us (Bergman Brothers, #1) by Chloe Liese | Letters to the Lost (Letters to the Lost, #1) by Brigid Kemmerer.
And there we go. Those are some of the books I have had some very big emotions too. From crying like a baby to smiling like a clown, these books gave it all. Have you read any of these books? What did you think of them? What books made it onto you list? Let’s chat!
