I had a pretty good June! Along with June being one of my slowest reading months – I didn’t buy many books in June either. This came down to a few things. The first being for a good chunk of the month we were in lockdown so I wasn’t at work to get things and I stopped myself from buying more. And because I wasn’t reading much I just didn’t want anything.
But I did get a little bit. It was a mix of books this month from romance to young adult and a little bit in between. Check them out now.
Fire with Fire by Destiny Soria: I don’t know too much about this one. I just came across it a few times and it caught my eye. Not only is the cover so pretty, it just screams me and I cannot wait. It sounds fantastic and I’m really excited to start it soon.
Light It Up (How It Went Down #2) by Kekla Magoon: This is another one that I don’t know too much about, but I read the synopsis and knew that I needed to have it. The whole concept of how this book is also written has really caught my eye as well.
One Last Stop by Casey McQuiston: I don’t think I need to explain how much I loved Red, White and Royal Blue and gosh I’m excited for this. I love that it’s different and that makes me even more excited to read it. I had to wait a little bit before I could grab my copy but now I have it and I can’t wait.
The Winter King (Weathermages of Mystral #1) by C.L. Wilson: A friend of mine got this and it just sounded so interesting. I don’t read a lot of historical romances/fantasies like this and I’m intrigued. I honestly don’t know too much about it.
Take a Hint, Dani Brown (The Brown Sisters #2) and Act Your Age, Eve Brown (The Brown Sisters #3) by Talia Hibbert: After finishing Get a Life, Chloe Brown last month and really enjoying it. I needed to get the rest of the series. They both came in after lockdown ended and I excited to read them now for sure.
Punderworld, Volume 1 by Linda Šejić: I received an e-arc of this for review and let me tell you already I adored and cannot wait for more. Plus look how pretty that cover is!
Drag Me Up (Gods of Hunger #1) by R.M. Virtues: I’ve been on a massive mythology kick lately and this one sounds so damn good. I have heard so many good things about it as well. So I had to pick it up. And I mean give me more romance mythology re-tellings any day.
And there we go! Those are all the books I got in June. I’m pretty proud of myself actually, especially since I bought quite a bit last month! What did you get in June?
