This week I’m sharing the books that I would gladly throw into the ocean and never see again. Top Ten Tuesday was created by The Broke and Bookish and is hosted by The Artsy Reader Girl.
It’s rare that I dislike a book so much that I would want to throw it into the ocean. But there have been some that I have read, especially over the last few years that I would do it for sure. I disliked these books for many reasons from not liking the protagonist, the plot wasn’t great and even writing that I didn’t love. Now you may enjoy these books and that is absolutely okay, but they weren’t for me. Anyway here we go, these are the books that just weren’t for me, and like always these are in no order.
Pawns in the Bishop’s Game (Checkmate #1) by Emilia Finn | Playing for Keeps (York Bombers #3) by Lisa B. Kamps | Dark Secret (Darkhaven Saga #1) by Danielle Rose | Darling (Darling Devils #1) by Gabrielle G.
Kane (Alexander Shifter Brothers #1) by Selina Coffey | Pursued by the Rake (Season of Scandal #1) by Mary Lancaster | Stoney’s Property (Devil’s Riot MC: Originals #1) by E.C. Land | The Awakening (The Vampire Diaries #1) by L.J. Smith
I’ll Meet You There by Heather Demetrios | King (King #1) by T.M. Frazier
And those are the books that I may just throw in the ocean. Have you read any of these? What did you think of them? Are you planning on reading them? What made it into your list? Let’s Chat
