With my birthday only a few weeks away. I thought I would share some of the books on my birthday wishlist. These are the books that I hope to get for my birthday, or that I might buy for myself. There isn’t much that I want for my birthday except books really.
These are books that have been on my wishlist for a while and hope that I can get to reading soon. Anyway, enough of this here are the books that I hope to get this year.
Spoiler Alert (Spoiler Alert #1) by Olivia Dade: I have heard so many good things about this book and I can’t wait to read it. It sounds like it’s right up my alley. And even though I don’t read many contemporary romances without a subgenre, I’m really intrigued. There is also a plus-size female protagonist and yes, please!
Our Year of Maybe by Rachel Lynn Solomon: I don’t think I’m ready to read this one, but I’m preparing too. This has been on my tbr for a while. And I think I’m ready to take the plunge and read it. It also explores chronic illness and gosh I need more of that.
The Rakess (Society of Sirens #1) by Scarlett Peckham: I’m never going to say no to picking up more historical romances and this has been on my wish list for a while now. And this one sounds fantastic. I’ve heard some great things about it and I’m ready to dive in.
Legendborn (Legendborn #1) by Tracy Deonn: I’ve heard so many good things about this one and I’m so ready to read it. This sounds like the young adult fantasy that I will fall in love with. And then rave about to anyone and everyone. Also, that cover is to die for.
Cemetery Boys by Aiden Thomas: I have only heard good things about this one and I need more ghosts in my life. I hesitated to pick this one up first. I’ve been bit by ghost romances before and I’m not ready for that. I just need HEA in my life at the moment. I’m good with sad things happening in the book, but I need happy endings people.
Bridgertons #2 – #8 by Julia Quinn: I’m putting these on my list, but I’m pretty sure I’ll be getting these from my parents and siblings. I adored The Duke and I. And I knew right away that I was going to need the rest of the series. I can’t wait to read the other siblings fall in love.
The Widow of Rose House by Diana Biller: This has only been added to my TBR recently, but I’m so excited to read it. I’ve just heard so many incredible things about it and I can’t wait to start reading this one myself. It sounds different from other historical romances I’ve read. And that caught my eye.
The Camelot Betrayal (Camelot Rising #2) by Kiersten White: This one comes out a few days before my birthday and I can’t wait to read it. I really enjoyed The Guinevere Deception and I’m super excited to see what journey this story takes. I never know what to expect from Kiersten White.
The Fallen Men Series by Giana Darling: I read this series over the course of this year and I really like it – a lot. So I would love to have physical copies of this series for sure. But they are also so expensive to get them here to Australia.
And those are just some of the books that I would love for my birthday. Have you read any of these? What did you think of them? I’m not planning to do much for my birthday this year. Obviously but receiving a good bunch of books would be amazing.
