I also have fun doing posts like this and I thought it would be great to do another post. You can check out my previous posts like this here and here.
So today I’m sharing more of my lowest-rated reads. From romance to young adult and more. Like always these are in no order.
Pursued by the Rake (Season of Scandal #1) by Mary Lancaster: This was a DNF for me. I was looking forward to this one, but right from the start, I knew it wasn’t going to be for me. I read about 25% and I had no idea what was happening. It was just so confusing. The characters also felt very bland for me and I wasn’t able to get connect with them at all.
The Royal Trade (A Billionaire Prince Romance #1) by Erin Hayes: I got this one when I wanted to read more royal romances and it was free. I shouldn’t have read it. It was just not for me at all. I didn’t like the romacne or the characters. The plot was okayish. But nothing great.
Dark Secret (Darkhaven Saga #1) by Danielle Rose: This is a recent addition to this list. I had no idea what was happening half the time add to that everything was happening at super speed. It’s a short book and it felt like everything was being rushed to fit in.
Cheater (Curious Liaisons #1) by Rachel Van Dyken: Again this is one where I feel different to other readers. I do want to give Rachel Van Dyken another try, but this one wasn’t for me. I didn’t like the plot, or the romance, or even the characters.
Into Your Arms (Squad Stories #1) by Chelsea M. Cameron: This is another one that I wanted to love, but I just didn’t hit it off with it. It sounds like it’s going to be fantastic, but in the end, it was eh.
The Bad Boy Bargain (Suttonville Sentinels #1) by Kendra C. Highley: On paper, this seems like the book for me. It has everything that I love. But it was way too cheesy for me. It was tropey but in a bad way. Like everything was just thrown in.
And that is it for this post, those are more of my lowest-rated reads! What are some of your lowest rated reads? Do we share any that is the same? Did you like any of the books on my list? Let’s Chat!
