This week I’m sharing the books that I loved that have a colour in the title. Top Ten Tuesday was created by The Broke and Bookish and is hosted by The Artsy Reader Girl.
This is a fun topic. It’s nice to do something and not think too much about it. I decided to plan on the topic and share the books that I loved. While saying this, I haven’t read many books with colours in the title. Like always these are in no order.
Scarlet (The Lunar Chronicles #2) by Marissa Meyer: While this isn’t my favourite book in the series, I still really enjoyed it. It’s fun and I love Scarlet and Wolf together, the dynamic between those two is fantastic. I did a re-read of the whole series this year and gosh it was so much fun, I need to start recommending this to more customers.
Red, White & Royal Blue by Casey McQuiston: There should be no surprise that this has made my list. I love this one so much. The romance in this one is adorable! Seriously they are one of my favourite couples of all time. And this has 3 colours in the title, so it wins!
Chain of Gold (The Last Hours #1) by Cassandra Clare: One of my favourites books this year, it had to make this list without a doubt. I love everything about this book. From the characters and the plot to the romances that have started. I can’t wait to read more and see what she does to hurt me.
Opal (Lux #3) by Jennifer L. Armentrout: I don’t talk about this series much, but I still very much enjoyed it. Book 3 is when things start to get interesting in this series. All the characters have already been through a lot, but this is the tipping point. Yes, I know that Opal isn’t a colour per se – but let’s go with it.
Shades of Gray (KGI #6) by Maya Banks: This is one of the more intense books in this series, but it’s still such a great read. Both our characters go through a lot in this novel and man I cried a lot. But this series is intense all together.
The Ruby Circle (Bloodlines #6) by Richelle Mead: Gosh I haven’t talked about this series in such a long time. But this the way you finish a series. I love everything about it and wish I could read this for the first time again. This series brings back so many memories and I love it.
And that is it for today’s Top Ten Tuesday. I didn’t realise how few books I’ve read with colours in the title. Anway. Have you read any of these books? Are you planning on reading them? Let’s Chat!
