Sorry for the lack of most in the last two weeks, everything is just a little crazy at the moment and a lot if happening all the time. But today I thought I would share with you some of the 2020 YA books on my TBR.
Last year I didn’t really read much YA, but I really want to go back to reading as much as I can. And I’ve already done that heaps this year. But here we are, like always these are in no order.
Bonds of Brass (The Bloodright Trilogy #1) by Emily Skrutskie: This one sounds so fascinating and intriguing. I’m not a massive science fiction reader, but I feel this is something that I’m really going to enjoy. There sounds like there is going to battles and romance dripped throughout and I’m ready.
Only Mostly Devastated by Sophie Gonzales: I saw a couple of things about this book before it came out, but I never really checked it out. And then I read the synopsis and it’s right up my alley and I can’t wait to read this one. Plus its #LoveOzYA.
Of Curses and Kisses (St. Rosetta’s Academy #1) by Sandhya Menon: This one caught my eye from the start. Again it sounds like something that I would love and it’s a beauty and the beast retelling. Yes, please. I’ve enjoyed Sandhya Menon books in the past and I’m really looking forward to picking this one up.
Chasing Lucky by Jenn Bennett: There is no doubt that this one is on my TBR. I love Jenn Bennett’s books and this one sounds like it’s made for me. A bad boy, former best friends, and some trouble. The romance is going to be perfect, the characters are going to be just right and I need this book now.
None Shall Sleep by Ellie Marney: A new Ellie Marney? Yes, please. Again this is another one that I didn’t have to think twice before adding it to my list. I’ve adored all of the Ellie Marney books that I’ve read before and I have no doubt that this will be the same. Said to be a mix of The Silence of the Lambs and Sadie, I don’t even know where to start.
Incendiary (Hollow Crown #1) by Zoraida Córdova: I only recently found out about this one and I’m so intrigued. It sounds like it’s right up my alley and has everything that I’m looking for in a young adult fantasy. Set in the 15th century Spain, I’m so looking forward to something different in YA fantasy and this seems like it might be it.
