There are so many YA and romance books coming out in May that it’s a little crazy, so today I thought I would share some May releases that I cannot wait to pick it. While I might not be able to read them this month, I hope I can soon. Like always these are in no order.
The Burning Maze by Rick Riordan: There is no surprise that this one is on my list. This is book 3 in the Trail of Apollo series and I am so ready to see what happens next. I completely forgot it was coming out in May, but I am so ready to read it.
Royals (Royals #1) by Rachel Hawkins: There has been so hype around this one that I feel like need to pick it up. In saying that, it sounds like my type of book and that just works perfectly. It’s romance, it’s about royalty and it sounds kick-ass. I am just so ready for it.
Speakeasy (True North #5) by Sarina Bowen: Another one that no one should not be surprised is on my list. I have nearly read all of Sarina’s books, I think I have 1 or 2 published books that I haven’t read it. It will happen. I adore the Truth North series and since May entered in book 1, I wanted to know more about her. And her is the chance!
The Brightsiders by Jen Wilde: I didn’t realise Jen was bringing out another book yet, so when I saw this I nearly screamed. I loved Queens of Geek, and if you haven’t read it, you should. Again another book that sounds right up my alley. It’s full of romance, fun, music, and diversity. Gimmie already.
Leaving Everest by Megan Westfield: I hadn’t heard about this books, until the other day and now I am really intrigued. It’s a romance that including climbing Mount Everest. It just sounds like something I might enjoy. In saying that I haven’t heard about the author either – so it might be a dud. We will see.
LIFEL1K3 (Lifelike #1) by Jay Kristoff: I haven’t read a book that Jay has written by himself before, so I am really hoping that I will like it because I really do like Jay and the Illunamie files. This one is out in Australia at the start of May, with the US and UK getting it at the end.
I also wanted to mention a couple of May books that I have already read and love. Fighting for Everything by Laura Kaye, and Allied (Ruined #3) by Amy Tintera. I have reviews for both of these coming soon – and let’s just say I loved them both.
What are some of the books that you cannot wait to read in May? Do we share any of the same? Let’s Chat!
