I can’t believe that it’s already April! Umm Hello. But that does mean it’s time for more fantastic books to be released. 📚

There have already been some 5 star books releases in 2025, will any books coming out this month be a 5 star for you? ✨

There are a few books on this list that I know I cannot wait to read and so looking forward to picking up! From contemporary small town romances, to dark and gloomy, throw a little fantasy and we have a whole library of romance books here. 📖

Race 2 is done and dusted and what a race week it

Race 2 is done and dusted and what a race week it was. This week I read Off the Grid by K. Bromberg. The first book in the Full Throttle series. Check out my post from the start of race week to see more about it. 🏁

So let’s get into my thoughts, check out my review now.

Off the Grid has been on my tbr for some time now, so I am really glad that I was able to get to it. While I didn’t love the book, I still had a great time reading it and enjoyed that we got to see more of the F1 world.

Camilla is thrown back into the F1 world when her father convinces her to join the family team, and while at first she is hesitant she falls back into it pretty easily. She just wasn’t expecting Spencer Riggs. The bad boy of the grid and someone she tires to avoid. But you know that isn’t how it goes and this forbidden hate to love romance hits the right spots.

Camilla has been through some things before the start of the book and while we don’t know exactly what happened, as the book goes on we kinda can figure it out. I do like the character development that we were able to see Camilla go through. I liked seeing her not only find herself, but figure out who she can be. But she not only has to deal being back in the world that hurt her, but she has to deal with Riggs and let’s just say they do not always get along.

Riggs is cocky and sometimes a pain in the ass, but he was also really run for it. I liked that he pushed boundaries but also understood the danger of things. Even if others didn’t. There were times where he needed a good knock not the head but for the most part he was pretty good.

The romance in this one was forbidden, hot and had lots of sneaking around. Honestly it was a blast and I liked seeing both Camilla and Riggs fall for one another. But also see them fall apart for one another. They broke each other walls down, and trusted each other. The ending of this one did feel a little rushed and I do wish there was maybe another chapter or two at the end.

IT’S RACE WEEK! 🏎️

If you didn’t know already I love F1, have ever since I was younger and decided that this year it would be fun to combined my love for F1 and reading together. 📚

It’s a double header for the second race of the year and we are off to China. This week I’m reading Off the Grid (Full Throttle, #1) by K. Bromberg.
