Well, technically it’s spring here in Australia. I cannot believe it’s already September – where has the year gone? I finish my uni year next month and then I am off my holiday to Hawaii. Which I am so excited for.
But back to books! Here are some of the novels that are on the top of my TBR for the next couple of months for Fall or Spring where I’m from. These are in no order of preference, just the month that they are set to be released.
Invictus by Ryan Graudin: I haven’t read anything by Ryan before, but I am really excited to pick this one up. I am not a massive science fiction fan, however, this seems like it’s up my alley. Plus it mixes history into the book | Out September
One Dark Throne by Kendare Blake: I really enjoyed book 1 when I read it last year, and I cannot wait to see where this story goes. There are so many possibilities. What is going to happen to our three protagonists? Who will be Queen? | Out September
Warcross by Marie Lu: I have already been hearing really good things about this one and maybe it’s time for me to read some Marie Lu. It just sounds fun, a hacker, a game and everything hanging in the balance. | Out September
Dear Martin by Nic Stone: I knew after reading The Hate U Give by Angie Thomas, that I needed to pick Dear Martin up. These books are all so raw and real, but I always get something more out of it | Out October.
The Last Namsara by Kristen Ciccarelli: Another one that I’ve started hearing things about. Plus its fantasy and has dragons – what more can I ask for | Out October
The Mortal Instruments: The Graphic Novel Vol 1 by Cassandra Clare and Cassandra Jean: It’s Cassie Clare enough said. I am so excited to have this in my hands. | Out October
Renegades by Marissa Meyer: I have had some ups and downs with Marissa Meyer. I loved the Lunar Chronicles but really didn’t enjoy Heartless. So I am looking forward to seeing where this one lands, nevertheless, I think I am going to love it | Out November
And that is it! What are you looking forward to reading in Fall? Do we share any of the same? Have you already read some of this list? Let’s Chat!
