Top Ten 2015 Releases I Meant To Get To But Didn’t

January 12, 2016 Posted by angelreads Features, Top Ten Tuesday 13 Comments

Top Ten Tuesday
Top Ten Tuesday is an original feature/weekly meme created by The Broke and the Bookish. Each week they post a new Top Ten list that members at The Broke and the Bookish will answer. All bloggers are then welcomed to join. This week’s Top Ten Tuesday is: Top Ten 2015 Releases I Meant To Get To But Didn’t

TTT12 - 1
Winter by Marissa Meyer: I meant to get this before Christmas, but it didn’t happen and after christmas everything was everywhere. I do have it now and cannot wait to jump in.

Soundless by Richelle Mead: Yes I know you are all screaming because I haven’t read a Richelle Mead. I know, I know. I have it now and will be reading it.

Red Queen by Victoria Aveyard: I have tried to read this twice already, both times I haven’t been in the mood. I hope to read this soon.

TTT12 - 2
Illuminae by Amie Kaufman and Jay Kristoff: I went to the signing of this and still haven’t read it. I am not the biggest fan of reading sci-fi. I have to be really in the mood. But I plan to get to it soon.

All the Rage by Courtney Summers: I like to read dark novels. They are real and heartbreaking but they tell the truth.

Rook by Sharon Cameron: I have heard heaps of good things about this one and I’m upset that I didn’t get to read it last year, but cannot wait to read it this year.

TTT12 - 3
Legacy of Kings by Eleanor Herman: Again, I have heard quite a lot of good things about this one, but didn’t have time to read it last year.

The Next Together by Lauren James: All I had to do was read the synopsis and I knew I had to read it.

The Accident Season by Moria Fowley-Doyle: Again another novel where the synopsis just pulled me. Really cannot wait till I read it.

And that is it. And yes I can count. I know it’s only 9, however I couldn’t think of another one.  I really hope I able to get to these books in 2016.

I hope you enjoyed. You can find me on twitter at @angel_reads and on facebook and also on Instagram at angelreads. Subscribe to my email through the sidebar or follow me on bloglovin’ to keep up to date.

AHH. So many fabulous books here Angel! Illuminae and Winter were two of my favorite books of 2015, so I really hope you end up enjoying them as much as I did. 🙂 The Accident Season and Red Queen are quite good too. Thanks for sharing and, as always, fabulous choices! ♥

I saw – Illuminae by Amie Kaufman and Jay Kristoff at the library and grabbed it but never got around to reading it. The cover caught my eye and I’ve seen lots of book bloggers rave about it. Maybe I’ll see if I can get it again from the library and get it read. 🙂

Wow that is AWESOME that you went to a book signing, even if it was for a genre you don’t normally read. I haven’t actually been to a book signing before. I was going to go to one a few years ago for an author I liked, but I got the date wrong, so I ended up missing it, haha! Great list. Hope you get a chance to read all of these this year!

Great picks! I haven’t read Red Queen either. I really want to read The Accident Season and All the Rage, but I didn’t put them on my list because I already had too many. I own Illuminae and Soundless, even got a signed copy of Soundless, but haven’t read them either. I really just need to learn to read faster or something. Thanks for visiting my TTT! I hope you get a chance to read all of these sometime soon! Happy reading!

ILLUMINAEEEEE. I actually hate sci-fi but I loved this – consider it an endorsement for non sci-fi lovers 🙂

Winter was also excellent. Of course – Marissa Meyer can do no wrong!
